This course will enable you to-

• Learn key principles of disability inclusion, including raising awareness, respecting human diversity, increasing meaningful participation, ensuring comprehensive accessibility, and targeting sustainable change.
• Gain knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding, including the Care Act 2014, Equality Act 2010, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Human Rights Act 1998, Disability Discrimination Act 1995, and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
• Understand the principles of safeguarding and well-being in relation to SEND, including determining eligibility for assistance, providing relevant information, and making decisions in the best interest of individuals.
• Comprehend the Prevent Duty in early years settings, including the expectations for leaders, Ofsted inspections, and strategies for protecting children from radicalization while effectively discussing extremism with young children.
