Total Qualification Time
Total Qualification Time is comprised of GLH and an estimate of the number of hours a learner is likely to spend in preparation, study or any other learning, including assessment, which takes place as directed by, but not under the supervision of a lecturer, supervisor or
tutor.

Method of Assessment
A learner workbook with open-response questions is used to test this certification. Learners must respond to predefined questions in a workbook provided by Highfield Qualifications. Successful students must be able to demonstrate their knowledge and grasp of the whole qualification course. The appointed tutor/assessor supports and assesses this assessment, and records must be kept and kept at the centre for quality assurance purposes. Centres shall take all reasonable means to ensure that no portion of a learner's assessment (including any internal quality assurance or invigilation) is carried out by anybody who has a personal stake in the outcome of the assessment.
